Tired of not being able to play Crysis Warhead on your computer? Looking to build a new rig? Well instead of going nuts trying to build it yourself, you could always just check out the machine that GameCyte has put together.
The system is pretty well build, with a Core 2 Duo E7300 processor, GeForce 9800GT video card, 2GB DDR2 800mhz RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. There’s plenty more as well, so just check out the flyer above.
No, you’re not going to have to fork over some massive dough to get your hands on this bad larry. It will only cost you $700 and it’s already fined tuned to specifically work with Crysis, giving you 30 frames per second on the highest DX 9 settings possible.
While the game doesn’t come with it, Windows XP does.

More information on the stylish Dell Vostro 2510 laptop has just been leaked! I would seem that this shiny new piece of kit will be ready for configuration on the Dell website with a 3 to 5 day shipping period.
The base unit costs $899 and comes equipped with a 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo T5670 CPU, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, an a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS video card. You can easily customize the system to break the $2,000 mark by increasing the processor, doubling the ram, and a Blu-ray drive, and plenty more.
Head on over to Dell’s website to customize your own.

Those looking to pick up a brand new video card but are short on cash are in luck. NVIDIA, makers of the ever popular GTX 280 graphics card have just revealed their GeForce 9500 GT PCIe 2.0 compatible card at less than $100. The core specs of the card include a 550MHz core clock, 1,400MHz shader clock, 32 stream processors, 800MHz memory clock, twin dual-link DVI ports, and a choice between 256MB and 512MB of video RAM, depending on how much you want to spend.
The initial reviews have placed this card faster than the Radeon HD 3650 and put it on par with the GeForce 8600 GTS. If you don’t mind being a few steps behind the cutting edge, this is the perfect video card for a budget build.

It’s always nice to see a company rally around their modding community. Especially when that modding community most certainly means that the company will have quite the upper hand on the rest of the industry.
Take for example Nvidia. Their decision to provide the SDK and other support to the modders looking to port over the PhysX engine to ATI cards has kept a beady little smile on their face. Why is that exactly?
Well, ATI will look like the bad guy if they don’t help out too, and worse yet if they do support it, there goes all that money spent on the Havok engine licensing.
So while Nvidia sits their, smiling that devious smile of the leading graphics card company and graphics engine, we’ll just have to wait and see what the rest of the community does or doesn’t do.

The NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ launched yesterday but the guys over at PC Perspective have already put it to the test. These guys don’t kid around apparently. With this being the supposed top card for the next generation of NVIDIA graphics cards, it’s only fair to put it head to head against some of the best cards of last generation such as the 8800 GT and their competitions newest card, the AMD Radeon HD 4850.
The card more than held it’s own and is getting some rave reviews. To see more detailed information about the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+, check out the full benchmark done by PC Perspective.

Talk about Orange Box. This machine, dubbed the Predator, from Acer is looking to be one of the slicker case design gaming systems that have hit the market in quite some time. Alienware has stayed a little too similar with all of their models, so for the gamers out there who decide not to build their own rig (and forgo the ability to overclock their computer as well), this should be at the top of your list.
Considering it’s customizable, the specs are really up to you, but you’ll at least be rocking out with an Intel Quad-Core processor, Blu-Ray Drive, Liquid Cooling System, 4 Swappable SATA drives, and an Nvidia SLI setup.
What, no quad SLI setup?

It has now officially been announced and on the market; I am talking about the new NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 single-slot graphics card. The new card from NVIDIA is certain to regain the fastest card in the business (all tests confirm that this card is super fast and it is not just marketing talk from NVIDIA) for the company which lost the lead to ATI not long ago. The new card which will cost you a not so affordable $600 is actually a dual GPU configuration; you can think of it as two 8800 GTXs in SLI mode. According to the official product website, “The dual-GPU engine has 256 screaming fast stream processors and a 1GB framebuffer, allowing it to perform 30 to 50% faster across games than the previous performance leading GeForce 8800 Ultra GPU.” I can’t say that I don’t want on because I really want one. I just have to stop eating for a month so that I can afford it!

NVIDIA unveiled today a new GPU aimed to the high-end laptop market, i.e., those who buy laptop computers as workstation replacements but with a hint of mobility for the stronger among computer enthusiasts. The Quadro FX 3600M GPU will support up to 512MB of video RAM and 256-bit memory interface delivering over 51 Gbps memory bandwidth. The FX 3600M GPU is also CUDA and Shader 4.0 capable which means that little performance will be sacrificed on computers with this chip on-board. NVIDIA says that the new chip is aimed at “professionals working with large datasets, models, and images in markets such as computer-aided design (CAD), digital content creation (DCC), imaging, computing, and the sciences, are now unchained from their desktop workstations with notebook solutions that feature the latest Quadro professional graphics architecture.“

NVIDIA which we all know because of their excellent products in the PC 3D graphics acceleration market have unveiled a new chip for mobile phones promising high-end image and video performance with low power consumption. The NVIDIA APX 2500 will allow mobile devices to capture 12MP images and HD 720p video. The company’s GeFroce Ultra Low Voltage technology will do all these consuming little power while off-loading much of the processing from the device’s main CPU. When it comes to high performance hardware for digital image and video processing, NVIDIA is certainly one that can deliver. It will be interesting to see what the actual capabilities of the first device to boast the APX 2500 chip will be.
