Epson has decided to branch out their EMP-400W model line with another version with the EMP-400We. The new projector is being geared for teachers to use in classrooms because of its unique ‘short throw distance’ – which is also used on the 400W model. It uses 1800 ANSI lumens and supports a WXGA resolution of 1280×800. There are many features that are used for projection which include the Kensington lock slot, the panel protection function, and password protection. For now the EMP-400We is only available to consumers in Europe.
