What is the point of this device? Your sound card has a Line In jack and will accept audio directly, why would you need to convert to USB first?

I do love how they imposed this new limit because some old lady might not use her bandwidth. So we all get capped..

Ok Mr Exec at comcast. how about this, I don’t watch BET, E online, MTV, VH1, Nick, Disney, cooking, sports, local TV stations, I don’t watch the hallmark channel, nor the other crap offered for my near 65$$ comcast cable TV. Sure as hell I’m getting charged, with your rational, I should be able to shut the crap off I don’t use. Or impose new limits. How bout everyone can only watch those channels I don’t use for 1 hour a day?

Tell you what, Send me a notice, Shove it up your butt, And I’ll laugh all the way to fios.

bye bye 60$ comcast internet bill, Bye bye 60 $ Cable HD tv bill.. bye bye 10 $ a month hardware fee & taxes.

Sorry but 250 gigz a month isn’t very much, it’s only 8 gig a day.

Buy a game off steam, about 11 gigs
Stream movies off netflick, amazon ect 1-5 gigs
Never mind streaming blueray content which is about 12 gigs a movie.
Then you have TVshows streaming, which I use for 24, two & a half men, medium, ect ect.. easy 2 gigz

then podcasts, youtube video, torrents, large emails, Software updates for adobe, microsoft which gets pretty large.

Would this make a media server, or dvd player? Most HD widescreen tv’s have multiple inputs, including computer 15-pin video. I download mpeg-4 movies from archive.org, and would enjoy watching them on a tv, rather than having to burn a dvd.

I have a ThinkPad and I’ve never found a camera that fit on the top of the screen. So this is exactly what I’ve been looking for, I just ordered two!

I’ll let you know how it works when I get it! I sure hope it works with Xubuntu!
