The 12.1in Lenovo ThinkPad X200 ultra-portable laptop has been a pretty large success as of late considering the options that it offers. Fully loaded, the device can run you upwards of $1,300 with a solid state 80GB hard drive, but yesterdays fiasco has made things even more interesting.
Considering that a 64GB solid state hard drive lists for over $800, the idea that Lenovo would reasonably list a 128GB SSD for configuration would be pretty insane. But when they did list that as an option, and for $70 less then the regular configuration, many people jumped on the idea.
The question now is, will Lenovo actually ship that after they’ve realized their mistake or will they simply cancel the orders?
