With all the hype that has surrounded Bluetooth, its unfortunate that it never actually lived up to it. The ability to stream music or media over Bluetooth has been so limited that the idea of developing that further has actually been abandoned.

With a gap of that magnitude needing to be filled, the newest player to the connectivity game, Ozmo, backed by Intel and partnered with Belkin, is looking to change everything. Using the same power consumption as Bluetooth, but operating on parallel WiFi connections, Ozmo is going to have all the benefits of Bluetooth, with even more perks.
