Have you ever sat and thought about just how small a text message is and why we pay so much for it? Apparently a group of people feel strongly enough that paying $.20 for 140 characters worth of data is way out of line and have brought forth a class action lawsuit against companies such as AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, U.S. Cellular, Cellular South, T-Mobile, and Virgin Mobile.
Apparently the specific focus of what their trying to accomplish is the fact that they get charged for unsolicited text messages and that they are then forced to join a plan which are over priced or pay the individual fee for each of them.
