BenQ V2400W wide screen LCDBenQ’s new super thin LCD monitor is termed as “a stylish fusion of luxury art and technology” by the company itself. Truth be told, the V2400W is the world’s slimmest 24-inch wide screen monitor which recently won the iF Design Award (take our word when we tell you that for style this is a decent award to hold.) According to the company’s Press Release, “Combining unexpected asymmetry and the aerodynamic curves of the B-2 stealth bomber, the V2400W is the world’s first glimpse into BenQ’s newly evolved Kinergy Design. This unique blend of dynamic energy, kinetic beauty and unconventional perspective elevates technology beyond the utilitarian to opulent art that expresses personal taste, social identity and lifestyle enjoyment.” Personally, I don’t care much about design at least compared to functionality. The V2400W will come with 4000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors, 160-degree viewing angle, full 1080p HD support and a 2ms response time. The new LCD will be available in North America starting next month for a price that has not yet been determined (expect it to be pretty high, though.)
