The fact that DirecTV has created DVR in order for us to record our favorite shows whenever we wanted. Yet, even with this option when we get really bogged down with things we forget to set that record until after it is too late.
DirecTV is taking things one step further and fixing this problem for us. They are releasing the new HR20-700 DVR a special feature that allows you to log into m.directv.com to find the times and shows that you want to record. The new model line of DVR’s is set to be released in February.

The iPhone is one of the most popular phones on the market and is coveted by many. So with all the features and money that has been put into it why couldn’t Apple give it good speakers to hear from?
Some people opt for the annoying headphones or speakers. Others – who are more experienced in the world of fixing up worn out gadgets – have chosen to fix their problem and frusteration by sticking the speakers with needles. It may sound crazy – but this can actually increase your volume up to 40% by puncturing the thin plastic that is used to protect the speakers. Read the rest of this entry…

This may not be the best spy shot we have of the new HTC Pharos 3470 Windows Mobile Smartphone (that’s a mouth full) – but for now it will do. The new phone is reported to have use the HTC TouchFlo interface (which doesn’t need a keyboard) and has a 2.8” QVGA screen, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, 200MHz OMAP processor, and 128MB of Ram. On the downside the phone will be missing a few essentials that HTC consumers are used to which include 3G and WiFi. Read the rest of this entry…

Digital picture frames are all the rage these days. They may be expensive – but apparently people love to see themselves and their favorite photos in crystal clear color. It’s like taking a step into movie pictures like in Harry Potter. Of course not every frame is perfect as was proven with the new 10.4” Insignia frame. Read the rest of this entry…

Epson has decided to branch out their EMP-400W model line with another version with the EMP-400We. The new projector is being geared for teachers to use in classrooms because of its unique ‘short throw distance’ – which is also used on the 400W model. It uses 1800 ANSI lumens and supports a WXGA resolution of 1280×800. There are many features that are used for projection which include the Kensington lock slot, the panel protection function, and password protection. For now the EMP-400We is only available to consumers in Europe.

The new adapter – which is compatible with Skype – offers BT v2.0, and can support HFP, AVRCP, HSP, and A2DP. If you like to jam to the music than we recommend that you buy this new device – which will only cost you $62 and comes in the spiffy colors of black, white, and pink.

The new ASUS M930 is everything that we had hoped for and more. At first glance the phone looks like your average run-of-the-mill, ordinary phone what with the usual numeric keypad and the QVGA display. However, on closer inspection you will notice that the phone unfolds itself and shows off a much larger display and a QWERTY keypad – which makes texting easy. The phone – which runs on Windows 6 Standard instead of professional supports up to 64MB of Ram, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera (that can auto focus), and WiFi. Check out the all of the features listed below. Read the rest of this entry…

The Apevia 750w LCD Quartz power supply is by far the most impressive looking power supply I have ever come into contact with. A black finish with several blue highlighted features does allow the unit to stand out for any tower intended for a LAN party. While that is probably far from the main reason that the unit should be bought, 750 watts of adjustable power with an LCD screen displaying constant stats on the unit being the real reason, it certainly doesn’t hurt. It should be warned that while this power supply is designed from the ground up to be hardcore mod-friendly, it is not at all designed with a new user in mind.
Upon opening the box it is easy to notice a very clear design flaw with the power supply, there is a fan mounted on the top of the unit. While this does manage to do a wonderful job of keeping the power supply cool it does a terrible job of fitting into almost any case available on the market. While the unit can be mounted upside-down in any ATX case this causes the issue of the handy LCD screen being upside down during use. This does cause the massive problem of rendering the screen almost worthless without the purchase of a specialty case. Read the rest of this entry…

It looks like there are a few details that Apple was forgetting to share with us when they were introducing their new MacBook Air model line of laptops. As we reported earlier there are many great features and standard things that we can expect to see from it. However, there is one very important thing that is missing – somewhere to replace our dead battery. Read the rest of this entry…
