The fact that we can access the internet without any wires is a luxury that we all enjoy. So why couldn’t we be able to do the same thing with HDTV? It is something that many people have dreamed of accomplishing and yet not many people have been able to accomplish until now. Apparently the 2008 CES was the great time and place for dozens of companies to show off this new technology. Some companies are ready to start selling this year and others are still working out the kinks.
LG is one of the many that is offering the wireless technology for 1080p on their PG70 plasma 60” and 50” televisions and will come standard on their LG71 LCD. LG has done a great job on creating a crystal clear picture on a video that is compressed with JPEG 2000. LG will be shipping its models in August.
