Honda is known for making its mark in different parades – but next year at the Rose Parade in Pasadena it looks like they will be creating a memory that we won’t easily forget. Their float will show off a large replica of the ASIMO – which will have generators that will allow “the hood of the truck to fold forward to become an aircraft cockpit, the doors and sides of the truck to unfold outward to become wings, the wheels to tuck under the body, and the bed of the truck to open and take on the form of an aircraft tail section, complete with rocket engines – and even real fire.”

Poetically enough they are calling it the “Passport to the Future”. You can bet that we if we aren’t there in person we will definitely be sitting at out televisions waiting to see what happens.
